Al has spent all his working life in advertising and marketing, mostly in agencies, alongside spells client-side in senior marketing roles. An ‘old school’ creative with a number of miles on the clock, Al is an award winning copywriter, art directs photo shoots, and directs and produces videos and radio commercials.

As one of the ‘elder statesmen’ of the agency Al (59 next) is here to remind us that people his age went to the Isle of Wight (first time round) and have seminal influences such as Hendrix, Led Zep, and The Stones. At the same time however they form a cohort that (like Al) has failing eyesight so please increase the point size when he’s writing D2C copy about annuities. He is the creative champion of the 3rd age generation.

What’s been keeping Al busy?

• Coming to terms with the fact he should have shopped around for a better annuity rate when he took that pension 2 years ago.
• Delivering the Smalls for All website for our chosen charity partner.
• Trying to work out why his nickname at the agency is ‘Mouse’
