Lloyds Banking Group Money for Life Programme

The Challenge

Money for Life is a substantial programme designed to help raise awareness of the importance of money management and illustrate how good money management can improve wellbeing. It is delivered by providing training and support to a wide range of community organisations that enables them to embed financial education into their services. The challenge was to showcase some of the community projects and the impact they are having on financial education.

The Approach

In order to show the many and varied ways individuals can get involved with the programme we built a responsive web site embedded with rich content and interactive maps that works across multiple devices. Talking about money can be a sensitive issue and the design of the site purposely focussed more on the educational aspect than hard financial matters.

The Results

The site was positively received by the various training agencies who were partnering on the programme who said the site was 100% better than the previous one. There was a 150% increase in engagement on the new site and a 38% increase in applications to get onto the programme.
