Problem.
Income protection has lived in the shadow of life insurance for far too long despite the fact we’re all 4 times more likely to suffer a long-term illness than die during our working lives.
As an income protection specialist, The Exeter wanted to make it easy for advisers to highlight the risks and financial consequences of a long-term illness to their clients so the value of income protection would be immediately apparent.
Solved.
We designed and built an income risk calculator to help demonstrate the importance of income protection to their clients.
The calculator builds personalised client reports that evaluate the impact of a long-term illness on short and long-term finances, visualises the benefits of income protection and provides a range of monthly premiums based on different product options. What’s more, the adviser can download the report as a pdf and attach it to any follow-up correspondence.
The calculator takes centre stage in a wider adviser tool kit containing a customer guide, adviser sales guide and tips on handling client objections – all of which were created by Space.
